Beginner

These classes are recommended for those who are new to yoga, are looking for some relaxed time, and/or want a gentle stretch. Any of the intermediate or advanced students can also take these classes.

In this class Allison helps you move beyond asana and learn more about why yoga works. Together she explores the healing practices to release tension from the psoas, your “fight, flight or freeze” muscle. By releasing locked energy we free the body of undue stress so the path to healing becomes accessible.  Move from striving to survive towards thriving and alive.

Restorative Yoga is a practice for everyone. All poses are done on the floor and held for 5-15 minutes with the support of props to ensure deep relaxation. It is perfect for those with injuries, arthritis, inflammation, and anxiety. It is equally beneficial for those who need to de-stress and unwind from life’s hectic pace. While resting in a pose and breathing, the sympathetic nervous systems which governs the “fight or flight“ reaction to stress is pacified so that “rest and rejuvenation” can happen.

This class is a blend of gentle yoga postures combined with Yin and Restorative. It is a perfect way to unwind your nervous system for optimal health. Suitable for beginners and anyone wanting to decompress, relax and restore balance.

Recommended for all levels.

Qigong is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention.Energy, or Qi, is the focus of both Tai Chi and Qi Gong.
