Phoebe Diftler teaches Yoga and Thai Massage Therapy at The White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara California. Her Thai Massage practice was featured on CNN’s “Weekend House Calls”. Drawing on her training in Intuitive Healing, Thai Massage Therapy and Yoga, Phoebe emphasizes opening the body to allow space for energy to move and healing to occur.

Thai Massage or Thai Yoga Therapy is an ancient healing art in the form of a massage that is said to date back to the time of the Buddha. We work on the major Senor energy lines stimulating the flow of healing energies within the body and opening the areas that are blocked.

Starting at the feet and working up to the head, the technique combines Trigger Point Treatments, Deep Pressure, Massage, Yoga Poses, and Energy Work, as well as other techniques. The benefits include: increased flexibility, relaxation, stress-release, circulation, and sense of well being and comforting the body, as well as release of negative physical and emotional patterns and traumas.

We will start with a guided session on Friday night, followed by two 3-hour sessions on Saturday, and one 3-hour session on Sunday. You will learn to give a one hour Thai Massage Therapy session using a work book as a guide.
