Yoga Nidra, the state of dynamic sleep, is a technique that teaches us to consciously relax inducing complete physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. During this practice the state of relaxation is reached by turning inwards, away from external experiences and can be applied in many ways to better overall health.
Stress Management: Increasing relaxation through Yoga Nidra to lessen the sympathetic (excitatory “fight or flight” response) by increasing parasympathetic (relaxatory) function
Therapeutic Applications: Ways in which Yoga Nidra can be utilized as a form of medical therapy in regards to acute and chronic conditions, it’s rehabilitative properties, as well as its use as a preventative measure.
Sharpening the Mind: Ways in which Yoga Nidra supports mental focus, learning, and increased intuitive clarity and memory
